Aggie Construction Science Grads Earn Their Hard Hats

On Thursday, Aug. 7, Texas A&M construction science students celebrated a major milestone at the summer Hard Hat Ceremony. Family, friends, professors and peers filled Rudder Auditorium to cheer on the Class of 2025 as they crossed the stage.

Hosted by the Department of Construction Science, the long-standing tradition marks students’ transition from classroom to career. This year, 38 students were presented with a personalized white hard hat that they can wear in the field or keep as a memento.

Not only do the hard hats have practical use, but they also commemorate the years of hard work in one of Texas A&M’s most hands-on, industry-driven degree programs. The ceremony is held before graduation, allowing students a more intimate space to celebrate with those who supported them along the way.

Texas A&M’s summer graduation ceremony commenced at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, in Reed Arena.

Congrats and Gig ’em, Class of 2025!
