Texas Target Communities helps provide award-winning plan
Residents of Caldwell have a plan for their city’s future that they created with assistance from students and faculty of Texas Target Communities, an outreach unit of the Texas A&M School of Architecture.
The comprehensive plan that was created in the collaboration between Caldwell’s residents, its municipal government, and Texas Target Communities earned a prestigious 2022 Texas Planning Award from the state chapter of the American Planning Association.
For more than 25 years, Texas Target Communities has been working alongside local governments and community stakeholders to create sustainable communities across the Lone Star State.
Through a threefold outreach approach, its faculty and students help communities become more equitable, resilient and adaptive.
