Visual Designing for the Next Generation

Langford C serves as a shared space for students from the College of Architecture and the School of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts (PVFA), fostering collaboration across disciplines. The building’s studios, classrooms and labs provide a creative environment where design, technology and artistry intersect. Architecture students work alongside PVFA peers, exchanging ideas that bridge built environments with visual storytelling, digital design and immersive media.

This cross-disciplinary setting encourages innovative approaches to both visual production and landscape design. Students gain a deeper understanding of how creative expression and spatial design work together to shape experiences—from virtual worlds to physical spaces. In Langford C, collaboration fuels creativity, preparing students to think beyond boundaries and apply their skills to real-world challenges in art, architecture and design.

Students are also able to bring in their our 3D printers to work on projects. This gives them the ability to customize their models in real-time.
