Alejandro Borges is an Associate Professor at the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, he holds a Master of Architecture from Cornell University and a professional architecture degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
Dr. Luhan is a leading voice in architectural research and education, focusing his work on innovative design technologies, digital fabrication, and the application of emerging computational tools in professional practice.
Chukwuma (Chuma) Nnaji conducts research and teaches advanced topics focused on construction automation, data analytics in project management, and the integration of emerging technologies to improve safety and productivity in the built environment.
Michael engages in advanced research and teaching focused on architectural theory, design methodologies, and the critical relationship between culture, technology, and the built environment.
Wei Yan, the Interim Department Head and William M. Peña Professor in Information Management at Texas A&M University, specializes in computational methods in architecture, including Augmented Reality, Building Information Modeling, and Artificial Intelligence for design optimization.
Building material with the potential to impact the design and construction of structures in Texas was the focus of a CRS Center symposium.
Michael McCarthy, whose initiatives as college dean from 1988-1992 spurred a period of growth, passed away May 30 at age 76.
The March 25 Rowlett lecture was canceled to conform with Texas A&M coronavirus guidelines. The event will be rescheduled for 2020.
