Dr. Wei Yan serves as department interim head of architecture at Texas A&M, combining research and academic leadership excellence.

Dr. Lingqian “Ivy” Hu begins her tenure as dean of Texas A&M’s College of Architecture, bringing vision and inclusive leadership.

Dr. Patrick Suermann will conclude his term as interim dean of the Texas A&M College of Architecture after three years of leadership marked by academic growth, industry engagement, and expanded student opportunities.

Kevin Gustavus has been appointed the new Assistant Dean for Business Services in the Texas A&M University College of Architecture. In his new role, Gustavus will oversee the day-to-day business operations for the college, ensuring that faculty, staff and students have the resources they need to thrive.

Dr. Phil Lewis, interim head of Texas A&M's Construction Science Department, has been named an SEC Academic Leadership Development Program fellow for his leadership and contributions, including developing new academic programs and increasing enrollment.

These professionals will provide expertise and resources to help the school become a premier institution for architecture, planning and construction science.

Congratulations to our students who excelled academically in the Fall 2023 semester. These students earned at least a 3.75 GPA while enrolled in at least 15 hours of classes.

Dr. Fabrizio Aimar has joined Texas A&M University as the new director of Center for Heritage Conservation (CHC), taking over for Andrew J. Billingsley who has served as the center director since 2021.
