Dr. Ahn focuses on predictive energy performance modeling using machine learning and artificial intelligence, as well as building energy modeling, performance simulation, and sustainable built environments.

Dr. Akbari’s is an Assistant Professor of Architectural Technology at Texas A&M University. I teach and conduct research at the intersection of computational design, digital fabrication, materials science and structural design, and apply that knowledge to design across disciplines, media and scales—from micro to macro scale.
