Andrea Roberts is Assistant Professor Urban Planning. She is also the founder of the Texas Freedom Colonies Project. Her research is broadly concerned with grassroots planning history and contemporary place preservation practices. She brings to her scholarship 12 years’ experience in community and economic development in Philadelphia and Houston.
