Apply Now: Undergraduate Admissions

Getting into college isn’t always easy. There are applications, essays, forms, tests, transcripts — and you're finishing up high school, too. But we are here to help with this checklist!

1. Do your research.

Learn about our majors! The College of Architecture offers six different undergraduate programs and ten minors.

2. Apply to Texas A&M University!

Complete your application through ApplyTexas or the Coalition. And do not worry! There are examples and instructions. Visit the Office of Admissions website to get detailed information about the required documents, when to apply, and other important information. You also do not need a portfolio as a freshman applicant.

3. Wait

Waiting is the hardest part. That's why the Office of Admissions lets you check your application and records online through the Application Information System. Keep in mind that it takes at least three weeks or more to review. All decisions for spring applicants will be posted by December and for fall applicants by late March.

4. Confirm your acceptance.

After you get your acceptance packet in the mail (Whoop! Congrats!), be sure to tell us you're coming. You can confirm your acceptance by accepting your admission offer online or returning the admission acceptance card you receive in your packet. Check out the Now That You’re Admitted Checklist to make sure you are completing all the required steps and paperwork.

5. Sign up for a New Student Conference

New Student Conferences are a must! You will learn everything you need to work out to become an Aggie and sign up for your first semester of classes! Don’t forget to bring your parents. We'd love to meet them. New Student & Family Programs are here to support your success as a new student. You must attend an NSC to register for your classes.

6. Next Steps
