Biography

Chuck Greco, through his 43 years with Linbeck, has played many key roles from field engineer to Chairman. His passion is fulfilling Linbeck’s commitment to innovation, leading initiatives in the areas of Behavior Based Safety, Lean construction, supply chain integration and building information modeling technologies. Chuck is a San Antonio native and received his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Texas A&M University. At A&M, he was a member of the Corps of Cadets serving as Cadet Captain, Executive Officer, and graduated with the honor of Distinguished Military Student. After college, he served as a US Army reservist for six years. He also completed executive education studies at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Chuck is a past President of the Construction Industry Advisory Council for Texas A&M’s Department of Construction Science. He was recognized as a distinguished alumnus of the College of Architecture at A&M in 2005 and has served on the Dean’s Advisory Council Executive Committee. Chuck was President of the Associated General Contractors of America in 2015 and also serves as an AGC Life Governor, past Chair of the AGC Building Division and past Chair of the Lean Construction Forum that he initiated and received Chair of the Year honors. He serves on the Board of Directors of the AGC Houston Chapter and on the Board of Directors, past Chairman of the AGC Texas Building Branch and is a 2018 inductee to The National Academy of Construction. He is also a past board member of the Lean Construction Institute and a past board member of the Construction Industry Round Table. In his personal life, he is an avid outdoorsman and serves as a Regional Director for the Texas Wildlife Association. Chuck and his wife of 43 years, Brenda, have two children and six grandchildren.
