West Texas Chapter/AIA Scholarship

Available to a deserving student who has completed at least two years in the Department of Architecture's undergraduate program, or to a student who has been admitted to or is pursuing the Master of Architecture degree. Applicants must be in good academic standing and have demonstrated need of financial assistance.The student's hometown must be in the West Texas Chapter area, which includes the following counties: Andrews, Crane, Crockett, Ector, Glasscock, Howard, Irion, Martin, Midland, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, Tom Green, Upton.

This competitive Texas Architectural Foundation (TAF) scholarship requires the submission of a Department of Architecture scholarship application and a portfolio. The Department of Architecture nominates eligible applicants to be forwarded to the Texas Architectural Foundation (TAF) for selection.

Established by the West Texas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in December 1990.
