Charles Lamar and Verda McKittrick Endowed Scholarship

Awarded to a Department of Architecture student who is enrolled in the undergraduate program or a graduate student pursuing the Master of Architecture degree. Recipients will have demonstrated industriousness, strong principles, qualities of leadership and promise as an architect. Preference is for students who have demonstrated need for financial assistance in order to continue his or her academic studies.

This Texas Architectural Foundation (TAF) scholarship rotates yearly between Texas A&M University and the Rice University. The Department of Architecture nominates eligible applicants to be forwarded to the Texas Architectural Foundation (TAF) for selection.

Established in 1992 in memory of Charles Lamar McKittrick and in honor of Verda Ray McKittrick by their children, Caralyn McKittrick Cordell and Thomas L. McKittrick, FAIA.
