Undergraduate Minors

Minors require 15-18 hours of selected coursework in a specific field of study. The minor designation appears on a student’s transcript but not their diploma, and once declared, becomes part of the student's graduation requirements. Students can choose up to two minors, but they must be declared before the graduating semester.
Almost 100 minors are offered through the various colleges at Texas A&M University. A complete list of available minors (85K PDF) can be downloaded from the Office of the Registrar website.

The College of Architecture offers seven minors: Architectural Fabrication and Product Design; Art; Art & Architectural History; Facility Management; Global Art, Design and Construction; Sustainable Architecture and Planning; and Urban and Regional Planning. Students must receive signed approval from the academic advisor for the department offering the minor, then apply in the student's home college or major department.
