The College of Architecture's communications office is a dedicated, in-house creative team committed to supporting college-level priorities and strategies by telling the college’s most important stories to a broad range of key audiences.

We develop and manage the college’s major communications efforts, including strategic communications, digital communications, social media, graphic design, marketing strategy, and brand management. We collaborate with communications colleagues across the institution to align our college-level priorities and identity with that of Texas A&M University.

Diane L. Oswald leads the communications team in developing and implementing strategic communications initiatives, and serves as the college’s primary communications contact. She represents the college in university-level communications initiatives.

Richard Nira publicizes college teaching, research and service initiatives through writing, and producing video and still image-based storytelling. He also assists the communications director in managing workflow for the communications team and maintains the college photo and video archive.

Aaron Alford works collaboratively with departments and units to develop and maintain a vibrant web presence for the college. He updates college-level web pages, provides content management system training for department, center, and unit content creators, and works with Information Technology Services to improve web pages.

John Peters provides visual storytelling through video and still images that that focus on the college’s mission by highlighting faculty research, student achievements and a wide variety of college events.

John Rice creates design solutions for both print and digital media to effectively communicate information for the desired audience. He presents the university's values and mission creatively, within brand guidelines.


Sarah Wilson

Sarah Wilson is the primary manager of the college’s social media channels, which link a growing audience of thousands of followers to multimedia presentations highlighting college initiatives. She also generates written articles, photography and videography, provides advice on in-house multimedia productions and guides student workers.
