The mission of the College Research and Interdisciplinary Council (CRIC) is to develop broad-based, interdisciplinary cultures in the College which encourage the creation, dissemination and application of knowledge in the planning, design and construction of built and virtual environments.
Within the CRIC Policies and Procedures, you will find valuable information on applying for the CRIC Research Grant, CRIC membership structure, and other CRIC activities.
A request for research proposals (RFP) is normally distributed to faculty and graduate students three times each year at the beginning of each semester.
Since the 1998 creation of the College Research and interdisciplinary Council, over $335,000 has been given back to college faculty to support research projects. For a complete list of recipients and projects, see the CRIC Research Grant Awards.
Please contact the chair of CRIC, Dr. Lou Tassinary, Executive Associate Dean at (979) 847-9351 or ltassinary@arch.tamu.edu, if you have any additional questions.
