Who: Students, faculty and staff from all disciplines are welcome. Teams up to 8 people.
What: A 24-hour interdisciplinary competition to address challenges posed by TAMU units dedicated to enhancing accessibility of TAMU campus for all.
Teams will compete for $5,000 in prize money by using open data from a variety of public sources to address accessibility Challenges. The teams can produce for example apps, prototypes, visualizations, art, music, installations, or anything else that will enhance access for all at TAMU campus.
The competition is free but registration is required (first come, first served). Food throughout the event & t-shirts will be provided.
Where: Langford Building A (room TBA)
Challenges will be presented during the Kick Off at 5pm on February 17th, 2017 by the following units:
