Hackathon 2018


This is a 24-hour event hosted annually by the College of Architecture Diversity Council

Who is invited to participate? Students, faculty and staff from all disciplines are welcome.

What is it?  A 24-hour interdisciplinary competition that addresses diversity-related challenges.

Teams of up to 8 people will compete for a total of $5,000 in prize money. Open data from a variety of public sources can be used to address the Challenges. Teams are welcome to produce solutions in any medium. Past participants have produced a variety of projects, including  apps, prototypes, visualizations, art, music, and installations. Participants will have access to the woodshop, Maker Space, studio space, and printing.

Participation is free, but registration is required. T-shirts and food are included for free! Please register early to guarantee your t-shirt on the day of the event.
