Ted Kollaja, FAIA, IIDA, LEED AP has more than 35 years of practice and is founder of Kollaja Consulting, a design and project management practice and Kollaja Home, a residential designer/builder.

Ted has a significant portfolio of large and technically complex building projects and advanced workplace strategies. At the start of his career with SOM, Ted had the opportunity to work on the Chase Tower and Renaissance Tower, prominent landmarks that still define the Dallas skyline. Nearly 30 years later, Ted is still making his mark across the Metroplex. Notable past projects include Ericsson’s campus, Texas Instruments, Nokia and the Dallas Cowboys headquarters, practice stadium and hotel development. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ted has made significant contributions to both the profession of architecture and the greater community. He has been involved with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) at various levels over the years, previously serving as president of the Dallas chapter and its 2,000+ membership base. He currently serves on the board of the CityLab High School Foundation, where he chairs the development committee. He has served on the Downtown Dallas Parks Master Plan Steering Committee, Greater Dallas Planning Council, Dean’s Advisory Board at The University of Texas at Arlington, the advisory board for the College of Architecture at Texas A&M and CoreNet North Texas Chapter, where he previously served as president. He holds a Masters in Architecture (1986) and a B.A. in Environmental Design (1984) from Texas A&M University.
